Newly added product
We have started selling lacquerware by Yuma Fukusaki.
We would like to introduce Yuma Fukuzaki's lacquerware that has been newly added to MON Online.
Yuma Fukuzaki continues to create lacquerware that can be used every day and blends into everyday life on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture.
In Mr. Fukusaki's work, the rising part is created using a dry lacquer technique using linen cloth and lacquer on a wood base. Therefore, the lines are thin and the overall impression is clean.
It can be used for tea sweets and snacks during meals, and as an accessory tray in daily life. We sell various shapes and sizes at MON Online.

Yuma Fukuzaki
Born 1987, Osaka. After graduating from Kanazawa College of Art with a degree in lacquer and woodworking, he became an apprentice to lacquerware master Akito Akagi. Since becoming independent, he has been producing lacquerware for everyday use based in Wajima, Ishikawa. He is seeking unique ways of expression, such as combining the dry-lacquer technique using linen and lacquer on a wooden base. The simple, modern design does not limit the use of the lacquerware, making it more accessible to people of all ages.s.
