私たちについて
京都三条黒門通沿いに、「MON」というギャラリーを創りました。ここで、写真、プロダクト、絵画、本、アート、工芸、骨董品──ジャンルに分け隔てなく、色々な品を展示・販売しています。その選定の基準となるのは、徹底的なまでの個人的嗜好です。ありていに言い換えると「私たちが好きか・どうか」。流行を追いませんし、有名・無名に関わらず魅力的な作品・工芸品等を進んで収集します。
このギャラリーの目的はあくまでも人と人との交流に重きを置いた、価値観の共有や体験にあります。何かに出くわして、「よくわからないけど、なんかいいかも」と思うような。そんな未知との遭遇をonlineでもお届けできれば幸いです。
We have created a space called MON along Kuro-mon Street, located in the Kyoto Sanjo area.
Here at MON, there is a gallery and a wine bar with various pieces you can find. We aim for MON to be a space to explore and experience values and interests. Mon invites you to reach for the things you don’t know and to reimagine the things you do. We hope to witness the unexpected encounters between us and you.
