TILE KIOSK's tiles are selected by visiting potteries in the Tajimi area of Gifu Prefecture, and include a huge variety of tiles in colours, shapes, sizes and ages, from dead stock that had been lying dormant at the potteries, to tiles that have been produced for a long time, newly created tiles, and sometimes rare prototypes made experimentally. Even tiles that are used as building materials can be used in many ways in everyday life, such as as trivets, trinket holders or objects, depending on the idea.
