LINES|Aksumi
about
The second LP by "Aksummi" from Sigrid Kalon's solo exhibition "TIME IS COLOUR" held at MON from March 16, 2024.
Sigrid Calon has been responsible for the jacket cover visuals for each of their albums since their debut. This collaboration came about when Adam Heron, head of Tonal Union, asked the artist to create a work for them.
The album "Lines" is the follow-up to the first album "Fleeting Future." It features minimalist music centered around alto saxophone, clarinet, and piano, with understated rhythms, creating a slightly more horizontal and ambient atmosphere than the previous album.
