Tiles from TILE KIOSK, a shop based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture where you can purchase tiles individually. 

This is a product created in collaboration with London-based designer Max Lamb and Tajimi Custom Tiles. All of the collaborative works between Max Lamb and Tajimi Custom Tiles are made up of four different tile shapes, and this is one of them. The beautiful earthenware color makes it perfect for display as an object or as a tray for small items or stationery.

TILE KIOSK's tiles are selected by touring potteries in the Tajimi region of Gifu Prefecture, from dead stock that has been lying dormant at the potteries, to tiles that have been produced for a long time, newly created tiles, and sometimes rare prototypes created experimentally, in a truly diverse range of colors, shapes, sizes, and ages. Even tiles that are used as building materials can be used in many ways in everyday life, such as as trivets, trinket holders, or even as objects, depending on the idea. We hope you will enjoy tiles from a slightly different perspective than usual.
