Kentaro Murayama
Born in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture in 1978. After graduating from Arita Ceramics College in 2003 , he joined the Kawakami Kiyomi He studied under him and set up his own kiln in Karatsu City in 2008. He hikes the mountains, gathers raw materials, makes clay and glazes, and, based on the techniques used in the storefront of Kokaratsu, continues to research the clay and glazes to create a unique texture.
