This blanket is stored and sold at the Textile Museum in Tilburg. We wanted to take full advantage of the latest knitting machines that allow different designs on each side.

A close-up look at the knitted structure reveals many repeated V shapes. Sigrid Calon uses these V shapes as a base, sprinkling small patterns inspired by a 100-year-old weaving sample stored in the museum.

This piece, like the kitchen towels, was commissioned by the Textile Museum and woven on a circular knitting machine in the museum's textile lab.
