2012 Chikako Okeda joins the company,

2014 Makishi and Okeda moved to Okinawa Prefecture.
2020 Opened a Luft shop in Okinawa Prefecture

2024 Tomoko Takeshima passes away. Makishi and Oketa continues her legacy.

The firm's name, "Luft," means "air" in German. Their motto is to create fresh air, space, and space within spaces and objects, and they develop a wide range of designs, from spaces to furniture and products.
