about

This blanket by artist Sigrid Caron is by the Textile Museum in Tilburg, Netherlands. Taking full advantage of the latest knitting machines that allow different designs to be created on each side, the front is brown and pink, while the back is black and white.

When you zoom in on the knitted structure, you can see that many V shapes are repeated. Using these V shapes as a base, I scattered small patterns inspired by a 100-year-old weaving sample stored in a museum.

shop manager's view

It has a firm texture and is a little heavier than a regular blanket. It can be draped over sofas, beds, and some customers even use it as a carpet.
