about

This work is a photo book published as part of the " Sen " vol.2 Nepal event. Together with project participant Mitsuyuki Nakajima, we wandered around the capital city of Kathmandu and six surrounding locations, focusing on the "smells" that permeate Nepal.

shop managers' view

This book gives a glimpse into the vivid colors and lifestyle of Nepal, and also conveys the aroma of spices used in Nepalese cuisine, the scent of incense wafting through the city, the smell of sweat, animals, and dust. Please also take note of the meticulous design, such as the cover, which was created using a scan of Nepalese incense ash.

about「閃 sen」

「閃 sen」is a project with the theme of "travel." It is an attempt to interpret "travel" from a unique perspective and express it through design, books, photography, exhibitions, food, and more. For the second exhibition, we have developed a special exhibition from three different angles, starting with the "smells" that permeate Nepal.
